Senior Electrical Sales Consultant


As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in the company’s sales efforts. Senior Sales Consultants are responsible for providing expert advice, servicing clients, creating sales, and reaching set sales targets to drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing client accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining key client relationships, fostering a positive and long-lasting partnership between the organization and its most valued clients. Your efforts in building strong connections with important clients will contribute significantly to the overall sales strategy of the organization.

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • A tertiary qualification in a related field of study will be an added advantage.
  • Have 2 – 5 years of relevant working experience in sales, retail, or related fields.
  • A Valid Code B driver’s license, you will be required to travel from time to time.
  • Low & Medium Voltage Electrification knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with an ERP system.
  • Demonstrate accuracy, service-oriented attitude, and a team player mindset.
  • Display good business acumen for effective problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
  • Strong negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record in client relationship management.
  • Exhibit tenacity and the ability to handle conflicts and pressure in a professional manner.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets to generate revenue.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and their accounts.
  • Pay close attention to electrical contracting opportunities, developments, and customer preferences.
  • Expand your existing list of clients and expanding new opportunities with existing clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients to support the organization’s growth and success, ensuring exceptional client service and relationship management.
