The primary purpose of the Picker role is to pick stock requested by the clients. The Picker will also be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of our organization. The ideal candidate should be a fast learner, reliable, and willing to work collaboratively with the team. This is a role is crucial in our organization, as this is the last point of contact with the client.


•Grade 12.
•One (1) year experience as a General Worker/Picker, or similar role.
•Valid Code B Driver’s License will be an added advantage.
•Valid 5T Forklift Operators certificate will be an added advantage.
•Basic Electrical knowledge will be an added advantage.
•High level of accuracy.


•Clean and sanitize shelves, floors and surfaces is retail, warehouse, area.
•Ensure shelves are always fully stocked and tidy.
•Move stock from the warehouse to retail area and pack into shelves.
•Ensure that all products on display are properly labelled with accurate pricing and descriptions.
•Receive picking slip from sales staff and locate required products.
•Accurate picking of stock according to the picking slip timeously.
•Mark and pack products in dispatch area ready for dispatch.
•Assist with IBT Picking.
•Ensure that the customer signs the POD, and it should be stamped.
•Conduct daily cycle counts.
•Participate in bi-annual stock stocks.
•Mark and pack stock ready for collection
•Assist Customers in store and with picking and locating of stock.
•Assist customers with picking and locating of stock.
•Provide excellent customer service.


•Must have excellent communication skills.
•Must be flexible and energetic.
•In our fast-paced environment, the candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter, being able to work in a team and individually with total integrity.
