Driver/ Admin

PURPOSE

The Sales Representative will be responsible for external sales of all electrical, lighting and renewable energy solutions products, to the Wholesale, Business to Business (B2B) and re-seller / retailer customers in Namibia. This includes servicing of existing customers as well as acquisition of potential new customers.
As the External Sales Representative, you will exercise persuasion skills as you travel in Namibia to demonstrate Megatech products, Megatech brands and Megatech services to customers, focussing specifically wholesale and B2B opportunities. Working independently and on a well-planned schedule, you will be backed up by an internal order processing administrator and the Megatech branch network.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade 12.
  • Code B Driver’s license.
  • Trade Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years in designing or installing experience will serve as an added advantage.
  • One (1) year experience in sales environments preferably in solar will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of solar systems and products.
  • Proficiency in using a point of sale (POS) system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
  • High level of accuracy.
KEY RESULT AREAS
  • Key account management.
  • Customer Service.
  • Sales revenue.
  • Scan or enter price code on the till.
  • Daily Cash Ups to check for correctness of amounts.
  • Process cash and electronic transactions.
  • Write out cash sales in manual invoice book if system is offline & transfer to the computer once online.
  • Answer all phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in bi-annual stock takes.
PERSONAL
  • Must have excellent communication skills: listen to understand, and not listen to answer.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST.
  • Must be energetic and agile.
