Driver – Windhoek

Purpose

The primary purpose of the Driver role is to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of customer orders while maintaining product integrity and excellent service standards. During non-driving intervals, the incumbent will perform general warehouse duties, including forklift driving, stock handling, packing, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

• Completed NSSCO/NSSCAS or Grade 12.
• Code CE Driver's Licence with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Minimum 1-2 years' similar driving experience.
• Strong customer-service orientation, with a neat, professional and presentable appearance.
• A clean driving record and safe, law-abiding driving behaviour.
• High level of reliability, accountability and ownership.

Key Result Areas

• Deliver goods to customers' addresses promptly, safely and responsibly.
• Verify and check all delivery documentation for accuracy before delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and inspections and report any abnormalities.
• Deliver a high level of customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure goods are loaded correctly, stacked safely and securely tied before departure.
• Adhere to road-safety rules and company driving policies.
• Report returned or broken goods.
• Take part in annual stock takes and preparations prior to stock takes.
